The Cerulean Time Capsule is an interactive, site-specific theatrical adventure performed inside and throughout the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory in Washington, D.C. The story centers on Benjamin Peale, a botanist who claims to be a time traveler from the year 2041. He enlists the audience’s help to stop a critical discovery at the U.S. Botanic Garden—one that could bring catastrophe and destruction to the world as we know it. Audiences are tasked with helping him locate the mythical Cerulean Time Capsule before it's too late. The performance takes the audience group through various parts of the Conservatory as part of this botanical adventure.
